Without a Hitch by Wrong Agenda / Luther Rude
This 12 song music CD was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock movies. All songs written by Luther of fichigan (aka S.D. Idema) and recorded at Frontier Recording, Copemish Michigan with producer/master guitarist Scott Zylstra. Also featuring Jack Grant on bass guitar, Roger Tarczon on drums, and David Chown on keyboards. If you are a Hitchcock fan you will recognize the movies, characters, and dark themes. Shrink-wrapped CD includes a lyric sheet. 2 song samples from the CD can be heard on the songs tab of this blog. Live Bait for Fishermen by Luther Rude
In April of 2020 at our spring trout camp I was fishing with my buddies Feral and Natch when we spotted a white plastic lawn chair on a high bluff overlooking the Pine River in Lake County, Michigan. The chair inspired the first Mosquito Art and Lager Fest in the fall of 2020 to be held at our fall trout camp. We tasked each other with creating an artwork that included the chair. My entries included this book and the pulp fiction cover artwork I created. Late at night by the campfire, after some serious partying, I pulled out the artwork and read stories from this book featuring my buddies as the protagonists. They were pretty entertained. This slightly revised book includes a really good trout fishing story by Feral. Update – no longer available except through personal contact.
